Color is an imagination

Haiku, to me, means three lined poems. The poem should be complete in three lines. This is my first attempt to write haiku in my own way.
Wikipedia definition of haiku:

I am against war

I am against war
I always have been
Wars are cancer on humankind
Wars destroy us,
Feels us ashamed,
But what about wars to ourselves
It is more important when you are perfectly alone
Your mind will weep like a widow
As a genetically modified Brinjal you would be alienated

Story of a half baked man

Don’t stare at me
What have you given to me
A heart full of dreams
Without the ingredients to achieve them
A brain full of thought
Without the courage to implement any
Now you have stolen my life from me
My all happiness
I can’t even breath properly
Every times when I try
I can smell my half baked dreams
That unfinished journeys
That swallowed thoughts
You have [...]

Ugly Life

I am walking
I don’t know where I am going
Yet, I am walking
Under the orange sky
Under the asbestos roof of the world
I can’t fold my white umbrella
Since it is not working well

Broken Dreams

Why life is so reserved
Why it is shielded from all the blessings
Like a plant inside a black cover
Everyday in day and in night

The beauty of dreams,
And the proud of being
But at the same time
All the colors were stolen
Painted them black
And left the road of promises far behind
Why this [...]

I lost my Blood

Today I lost my blood
Yesterday it was there, like a red ocean
But today it is lost
How and why is still a mystery
The fact is today I lost my blood

Children without hands

Look at them
They are children without hands
This is the truth
As naked as afternoon
They are children without hands
Not one or two
But Thousands and thousands of them
They walk along the street
Lungs of the city empty now
like a village classroom
Around the corner
Infront of the assembly building
There is a heap of small hands
like dead bodies of soldiers
like broken brushes
In [...]

The Painter

To my brother,

I heard your voice
Even before you were born
We are from the same mud
Our whispers
The smallest cries on earth,
Now we are away from it
Your canvas is waiting for colours
As a newborn waiting for it’s mother
Past
Our dreams were black and white
But you had colours
The violet river of our ambitions were bigger than us
I agree,
Life was [...]
