Don’t let us die
We are the future of this country
When the sentence finished
Firing started and took lives of 30 innocent students

Sky started bleeding
And the rain swallowed the sorrow
Don’t let us die
We are the hope of millions
Through us they see their dreams
When the prayer stopped
A train ran over them
School bell started ringing
But no one heard!

Our country is hopeless
Our dreams are wet
We pray but we don’t believe
Don’t let the children die
Because when they die
Earth is also going to die!

The newspaper with the Nobel announcement lies before me,
From it, Llosa smiles.

Around the corner
A black sheep smiles,
Then it turned a goat and started crying!
I was very much alive in that minute
But in the mean time I lost my bracket
I became naked,
Naked as an arrow!

Life is not an endless journey
It’s not a journey at all
It’s a bus stop or a railway station
Where we stood still
When I started talking like this
My mother left my home
Now she smiles from the stars!!

If possible don’t read books
They will only guide you to life
Then how can you reach and kiss death

One day,
The day after the rain
A child with rose nose knocked my door
I was in a dream,
In a desert, waiting for rain….
He shook my hand and said
You are an idiot
You can’t write me
I am not your story
When he left my right hand turned black
And my fingers stuck each other

Don’t talk to the rain
It’s the ultimate hope of the last man survived
Like democracy
This rain also means nothing.
Without bracket my life is meaningless.

Why I always been an under performer?

It has been quite a long journey as a professional. When I joined my first job I was a bit nervous. I always doubted about my success. I was an average person everywhere. No women accepted my “love request”. When I reached 19 I became bald. Frustration was another reason for my fear. I always believed in hard work. Through hard work anyone can achieve anything. My life was full of misery from the beginning. I tried hard but didn’t succeed. I always thought about success but frequently failed. Then I made a decision that I will not allow failure to enter into my heart. I will strive continuously for success. Now I am working as senior reporter in a business magazine publishing in Malayalam. I don’t have much knowledge ut I am trying to earn it. My search for love continues…. My ambition is to become the most famous business journalist of kerala, I hope that god will help me to achieve this dream.

Life is all about up and downs. I have experienced it so much. When I completed my graduation I had a dream. It was to study MBA. I approached so many banks but didn’t get a loan to pursue my ambition. From school days on wars I had a flair for writing. Then I thought why I shouldn’t go for Journalism. The main reason behind the decision was that the course was cheaper. Only hurdle was the entrance test, interview and group discussion. When I cleared it getting a loan was not that much difficult.
After completing my P.G Diploma in journalism it was 3 months of struggling, literally. Then I got a job in Mahyamam daily (Malayalam newspaper published from Calicut). The monetary benefit was not that big so when I got another opening I switched over my job to Geojit BNP Paribas financial services. I was an executive there in it’s corporate communications department.
The main advantage of working with Geojit was that I got a chance to understand the stock market closely. After 4 months of working there I wrote my first article about Indian economy. Suddenly a door opened in front of me and I made my choice-to become a business journalist. But as always I dreamt about becoming a good one not an ordinary type. I applied in so many publications but I wasn’t selected. Finally I got a call from Dhanam business magazine. I joined there as senior reporter and I became a “pink journalist”.
I know that I don’t know much, but I will try to learn everything about business in this country. Just now I completed one month in Dhanam. I admit that it is not a very good job. But it offers great opportunities. I always believe that self excel is the only remedy for mediocrity. When you work hard success will bless you whatever way you wanted.
I am a “pink journalist” now. I will try to become a better one in the coming days. After all life is all about future, isn’t it?

German young guns

The most scoring game so far was the match between Germany and Australia. The main advantage of German side was that they are the youngest squad in this world cup. The three time world winners have professionalism too. Many of the players are with their local league. So unlike other stars they are unknown. Their coach law have been with them for many years. He knows the team well. Germans made their opening match big. Almost all the time the ball was with them.
As a football fan I have good reasons to support Germany. The only problem is that Klose not in form. He can’t make full advantage of the chances. In worldcup history big goal scorers will not make into finals. So history is against Germany. They are capable of become group champions.
Surely the young German guns are going to rock this time, all the very best for the German side.

France will go through

The first two matches of the worldcup ended in draw. I hate draw because it is a lazy situation. For the first match I was with South Africa but they can’t win that match. In the second match sometimes I feel bored. I expected some great football. France and Uruguay were strong sides. Uruguay were two time winners. France runner up of the last worldcup. Surely the pressure was upon them. Uruguay very well defended the french side. Anelka and Forlan were the main attraction of the game. Some rough techniques were used by both sides. Ribery worked hard to score a goal but that didn’t happen.
I hate draws. Personally the match between France and Uruguay was not that much interesting. I expected some fantastic football from Uruguay, but they disappointed me.
My prediction-France can go forward, Uguguay has to work very hard to reach the next level. I wish both these nations all the very best.

South Africa has to do more homework

African nations have great strength in them. Surely one among then can reach semi finals of this worldcup. It is one of my dreams too. An African-European final is my dream. I had a hope just before the first match. I have seen champions in South Africa. But their first match against Mexico proved that they have to do more homework. They have to work more on passes. Their defense is back. Mphela has to find the rhythm, the sooner the better.
The Tshabalala goal was excellent. Carlos Perera has transformed the team. The first match was a draw, that does not mean that South African side played well. They have to find ways to take advantage of ground support. The only word which can describe the save by Khune is -outstanding. South Africa has the potential, but they are not using it.
My advice for them is that don’t play for a draw, play for victory. Particular care is needed when they give long passes. Their height is a problem so short passes will be helpful. I can’t forgive Mphela for his last time miss of a sure goal chance. Good luck for the team, do some home work seriously before the next match.

African Safari

The greatest show on earth has begun. FIFA worldcup 2010 started in Johhannasburg in South Africa. World has shrinked to ‘Jabulani”. Now one month of complete football. Defending champions Italy, european champions Spain, confederations cup winners Brazil, all time favourite Argentina, football god Maradona all are ready. We can hear the song of ‘Vavusela’ all around Africa. It is the voice of hope and victory. Cape of good hope was a word of relief in the history of mankind. Now for the first time an African nation hosts the FIFA world cup. 100 crore people, 55 nations Africa is huge… Worldcup will bring hope and unity in Africa, lets hope so
South Africa is the country of Nelson Mandela. One of the greatest figures in history. It was also the classroom of Gandhi. Now under the leadership of Jacob Suma they are moving forward…
Imperialism had left many wounds in Africa. This time their past masters going to visit them, and going to fight against them. This is indeed a great thing to watch. The Latin American nations also had revenge. They consider the playground as war field.
Truly football is the greatest game on earth. Brazil is my favorite team. But I admire the way Argentina plays…it is a sight to watch.
I would like to write small analysis of the games I watch on a regular basis, this is how I celebrate this worldcup. I want to buy one Brazil jersey too
