India and Maoist Threat

After attacks from outside now it is from inside. The Maoist threat is gaining momentum. The ‘blood battle’ need proper attention. During the time of first UPA government the threat was there, but was not this much worse. May be because left parties supported the government from outside. We all are aware of what is happening in our neighboring countries. Pakistan is struggling hard to wipe out the terrorist outfits but they are not succeeding much. After the war in Iraq and Afghanistan those nations are experiencing severe threats within. Earlier Srilanka also faced same threats by LTTE, but they succeeded in eliminating it.
Indian Maoism is an extreme leftist movement. History proved that this ‘line of blood’ is not a solution but it is a problem. In general terms it is the fruit of the disparities in the society. Without erasing the route cause it can not be cured. But so many are dying and become handicapped. Hence Maoism becomes a threat to the security of the nation.
First of all find out the source of money and stop it. The next step is to gain support of the local people. Indian army should befriend with the people in Maoist affected areas. Recent Dantewada massacre of an entire company of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) proved that how cruel they can be. Whgen Indian army and government itself losses faith no nation can control these kind of extreme outfits. We have lessons from Nepal. It clearly underlines that Maoists don’t want to engage in political system. They want fight (or war). Indian Maoism is not that much organized, so it is easier to attack them. Logical thinking and modus operandi are the needs of the hour.
Central government with the help of state governments should make a proper strategy to avoid this menace. At the same time steps should be taken to ensure safety of local public. Proper enquiry should be carried out to know whether any foreign assistance is getting them. Maoist threat can be curbed if the government acts properly. My common sense says that treatment for the route cause should also be done. An insecure country can not grow much. Tie-ups and information sharing should make fasten. Local authorities of these areas can be clubbed. If necessary air raids can also be used, since Maoists are opting for Guerrilla warfare. Steps should be taken in order to stop the threat from spreading to other areas of the country.
Maoism is the result of the disparities in the society, but a corrupted system will only add fuel to their growth, so be careful!!
