Political Tricks by Rahul Gandhi

February 8th, 2010 | 9 Comments | Posted in Current Affairs

It is a common practice that politician’s sons and daughters become politicians. Rahul Gandhi is no exception. After the death of our former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi The sucession streak became a little bit disturbed. But that too was only a matter of time. After several times of reiteration that she would never enter politics Sonia Gandhi, widow of Rajiv,  finally entered into politics.  NDA reigme made it possible and the Gandhian era in Indian politics started yet again. At the end there were dramatic changes. Sonia gave up the PM chair and became an embodiment of sacrifice in Indian politics. But she remains the power house of congress party and Indian politics.
Year 2009 marked a historic moment in Indian politics. UPA government came into power again. Thanks to recession and Rahul Gandhi’s aggressive campaigns. UPA ministry headed by Dr. Manmohan Singh came in to power again. Except some controversies in the beginning the government is now on it’s track.
Rahul Gandhi remains the apostle of congress agenda. As the party claims it is for the goodness of common man (aam admi). Recently Rahul Gandhi made it clear that Mumbai is for all Indians. Not only that he walked through Mumbai to gain support for his comments. This particular act came when lots of Indians are attacked in Australia. As India know by now Rahul Gandhi travels in the second class compartment and he lives in villages too. His aim, as cleared by himself, is to strengthen the youth faction of the congress party. Rahul Gandhi all of a sudden visited the ksu camp in kerala also. This too without proper intimation. He interacted with the workers also.
Now familiar Rahul Gandhi’s this ‘aam admi approach’ always catches media attention which makes him well ahead of congress leaders. This publicity stunt increases the eligibility of Rahul Gandhi to become the next PM of India. In the near future as a decision from the congress high command Rahul Gandhi will become the prime minister. Manmohan singh will be replaced because of health problems. This will be the congress agenda, and for sure no one will protest. The succession trend will continue.
