Victory tile factory

January 11th, 2010 | No Comments | Posted in Poems

(consequent to a brutal rape my daughter alka died at the age of 19, in the victory tile factory near kochi)

The walls of the sky are broken
The star eyes of time glare at me
This is not the real time
This is the dead body of past
The broken wings of earth
started falling
This is an immature hour
Hour between life and death
The farting thunder
lungs of clouds
everything standstill in this moment
your cries are with me
All your wounds in your body
started raining
it falls on all sinners of the world
over infertile buses on earth
over all virgin birds
Have they squeezed your breast
Have they bitten your rose lips
Have they buried your cries inside your mouth
I can’t say anything now
a tree full of sorrow has fallen into my mouth
my tongue stuck to the ceiling of the mouth
teeth hijacked my memories
jaws swallowed my words

Alka,
I bury you in my tears
And I stand alone at the junction of all sorrows
Wherever you are
My whispers follow you
All oceans on earth started creeping down into earth
When you died
All flowers on earth had fallen

Alka,
I bury you in my retina
I bury you deep in my soul
And one day you will reborn
From all my ambitions
From all plants on earth
From every dew drop

The molecules of your being
will find it’s own way
